The new lease is signed. I have a place to live again! Woooo hoooooo.

Now I just need to figure out what to plant this summer in the rooftop garden. Any suggestions? (Remember, it's Manhattan - the plants have to be smog-tolerant... Maybe I'll just plant tobacco )

Hehehehe. I rather like the tobacco idea. Actually, I bet plants are more tolerant than we realize. What's been grown on that rooftop before? I live in Vegas and we not only have our own mess of smog to deal with (we're in a valley), but LA's smog likes to travel our way...

plant stuff that is very leafy! not only do plants thrive on carbon dioxide, but really leafy plants suck that stuff in and they will produce loads more oxygen, giving you a small break from the smog

I don't know what you should plant but I'll be anxious to hear about it! What about sage? It's pretty tolerant of everything!

As long as you're not planting Wacky Tobaccy, you can't get in all that much trouble can you? Being highly allergic to pollen (btw how the hell do you become allergic to nature?? What part of Darwin's theory talks about that??) I have no useful plant suggestions to offer...

Wish I could help you out there, but unfortunately I don't have any knowledge of smog-tolerant plants . But I do know one thing - YooHoo is good. You know what else is good? Smokin dope. I ain't gonna rat you out, you know. Puffin' the chiba. Go by the seesaw, smoke a J. You know what I'm talkin about?
