NEW EDITOR - TAKE 2
We've made a bunch of tweaks to the new editor to see if we can get it working for everyone!- Faster Loading - we've put the editor code on a ton more servers to help speed the loading time
- New Help Links - we've added back the little "editor not working?" and other help links in case you still have any issues
- Language Support - if you write in Chinese or other foreign languages, you may need to update your Language Settings. Now you can just click the new little "language" link for instructions.
We've also added a new setting to let you choose between the older version and this latest version of our Rich Text Editor. To try out the new editor, just click this link and set your Edit Mode to "Rich Text - Latest Version":
Please let us know how it works!

Hey, this might be exciting enough to convince me to try a new xanga layout!
Keep up the good work. I've got some more suggestions for you...
How about adding a search feature for individual xangas?
I am glad the editor is back, although it is muuch slower now for me! Hope that is temporary because it was just launched?!
i didnt have problems with it before
but im glad to have this as a default editor now
esp the Photos >> Choose, the options are really handy, from customizing widths, setting border colors and width. it even remembers which border options you chose previously. takes out the extra work i had to do in the "edit html" mode.
likewise, the Text >> "Photo Options" work as expected -- if you select a photo, you can edit all the options (width, border, style, color), and if you don't select a photo it goes automatically to the Photo tab. very nice.
one thing is that the Profile Pic seems to try to show the original pic in its original size, but is truncated to a fixed width of a mini profile pic if it's bigger. most of my profile pics are like 120px or 150px, and they are cut off in the middle.
very much appreciate the word & character counters. tried out the find & replace option, works well.
after confirming my language setting (korean), i tried editing korean sentences. worked fine. when xanga first released this spiffy Editor, it had trouble with korean language in the "edit html" mode. this issue no longer exists, i think.
thanks, Xanga! i give two thumbs up.
thats great!! well done~!
the new editor is very convenient!
and i am glad that it supports chinese!
anyway i am still waiting for the archive function to support chinese=(
also - FireBug extension is showing a ton of CSS and JS errors.
examples here amd here
anyway, thanks much for continually trying to make xanga better!
sweet! now i must get people i know from china to start a xanga blog! i understand you could write entry, in chinese. but could you comment in chinese too?
LOL myspace doesnt have a language support! i think there site is designed for the USA! language support owns myspace. If we ever have a xanga vs myspace war, we got the whole world on our side.
Also, it's spacing double lines still. Not like the old new editor.
This is not worth the trouble of changing. Just my .02 I liked the 1st new editor MUCH better.
