Hey GrooveJunky - nope, it's not full sized - it uses the same sensor as its predecessor, the 20D. It's a fantastic system, but a lot of people are wondering why they didn't upgrade the sensor... Canon reserves its full-sized sensors for the even higher end camera line, starting with its EOS 5D camera.

It's the same thing as the 30D except for a bigger screen--Canon fooled us all! =(
gonna get m'self a 20D once 'em prices start to drop =) or 5D if I ever get the money O_O
