Now You Can Give the Gift of Premium We get a lot of emails asking if it's possible to buy Premium for someone else. We've been meaning to automate this process - but before we did anything more with Xanga Premium, we wanted to make sure that we'd fixed our recent server problems.
Now that Xanga's been fast and steady for a while, we're happy to be able to launch our new Premium Gifting Service:
- You can buy Xanga Premium for any other Xanga Member - you don't even have to be a Xanga Member, yourself
- You can send your gift anonymously or send a personal note along with your gift
- And you can even buy Premium for Xanga Members who already have it! (We'll just add more months to their Premium Services.)
And We've Been Able to Cut the Price in Half!
We got our own little Christmas miracle over here when Dan bumped into a guy in his building who ran his own co-location business and was able to offer us good rates.
And we're excited to be able to pass the good luck on to all of you. It's going to cost us less than we expected to keep Xanga up and running in its new facilities, so we've decided to offer a holiday special and cut our Premium Pricing by 50%! Now you can buy your first six months or year of Premium for half off our original pricing.
If you're having trouble with the math, it works out to just about $2.00 per month... as low as that amount may sound, if enough of you upgrade to premium (or give the gift of premium), it'll really help us keep Xanga up and running.
The Gift that Keeps On Giving
As we've said before, we're committed to keeping Xanga Classic free. But as you've seen by our recent stumbling through our server issues, we're starting to face real walls in keeping Xanga up and running (and fast and stable).
So we're asking for your help: if you're enjoying Xanga, and particularly if you're enjoying the faster Xanga, then please show your support! Help us keep Xanga in its new co-location facilities by purchasing Xanga Premium for yourself... or now as a holiday gift for any of your Xanga friends.

Someone is always going to complain. That's the way sales are. If you buy before the sale, you're just unlucky, but you can buy more now at the good price to extend it, and it's worth it anyway, even at the old price, I think.

if you want to get the discounted rate, you can buy as many months of premium at this price as you want... so even if you have premium already, you can get the holiday sale price!
